I am now on the fourth mission, probably been playing for close to 45 minutes but I feel I've barely made a dent in the level, which is awesome. I was only impressed further during the third mission in Imai Town (the snow track mechanics really caught me off guard, I feel this could've EASILY been overlooked as a feature). The level itself isn't very large, but it's designed well enough to be challenging. I think the level/mission design is very well done, and is really part of what impressed me so much when I saw the second mission recorded about 1 hour and 37 minutes to complete. I really love how genuinely challenging this game feels (to me, at least), but also love that it gives you a lot of room to experiment with the quicksave/quickload feature (the timer is really helpful as well). The second mission took me just above an hour and a half to complete, the third took me well over 2.

The missions themselves are great, I played through the first one in the demo and was glad to see I could pick up with the second after purchasing the full game. I've never played Commandos or Desperados, but I really love Japan in all regards and enjoy strategy. This game really came out of the blue for me as well. I'm actually really liking the story as it develops, too.
